- Creating investor presentations and financial models, leading due diligence efforts, advising on structure, negotiating terms and closing on transactions.
Leading all financial activities of the Company and managing appropriate teams.
- Financial planning and analysis; defining KPIs and preparing forecasts, budgets and operating plans; overseeing the monthly closing process; managing payroll, A/P and A/R; financial reporting and presentations to internal decision makers – Board of Directors and senior management.

Neil W. Portus, CFA, CMAManaging Partner
Previously, he was a Vice President in the research divisions of Goldman Sachs, Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers in New York where he was a lead equity analyst covering consumer and hospitality companies. In addition, he helped lead numerous capital markets transactions including Zipcar’s IPO as well as multiple secondary equity offerings and block trades.
Neil began his career at boutique investment bank Libra Securities where he helped lead 15 advisory (M&A, bankruptcy, restructuring, fairness opinion & valuation analyses) and financing (high yield & mezzanine) transactions totaling $1.3 billion.
His international work experience spans from the UK to East Africa, Central America and Macau.
Neil is a CFA charterholder and a Certified Management Accountant. He received his MBA from the Darla Moore School of Business at The University of South Carolina and his BS in Recording Industry Management from Middle Tennessee State University. He lives in Brooklyn, New York, with his wife and is a member of Trinity Grace Church.
